If you've made it to this site, you probably know either Whitney or myself.  Whitney just graduated from business school and I recently got the opportunity to take some much needed time off as well.  The timing of these two events coincided perfectly and we were able to take a trip that we've been planning for quite some time (a friend referred to it as our "epic journey").  This site will generally give updates on where we are and what we are doing during our "Summer of George".  We'll try to give some cultural color about the places we are visiting and hope to keep it relatively entertaining. 

The general plan is to travel around Europe up until August, come back to the United States for August and September, and then move to France (somewhere in Provence maybe?) for October to March.  During that time, we'll be taking language lessons and absorbing the culture.
